My Heartfelt Condolences go out to The Beaton Family. Jerry was a wonderful person on all angles and an inspiration to my mining career. He is a man i have never forgotten and never will.
To Jerry’s family, and his brothers and sisters, our condolence. Growing up in the same community, we knew about Jerry but didn’t know him well. Knew the family, and that told us enough about his reputation and character in the community. Sorry for your great loss. Take care.
Sarah and family, very sorry to hear about Jerry’s passing. He was a fine man. Jerry was in a supervisory role for Finley Walker Mining at Prince Mine in the 80s. He was one of the good Mabou miners who supported and helped me in my short term mining days.
My deepest sympathies to all the family.
Sincerely,
Xavier Rankin

There was never a visit without a smile and a laugh from Gerry, even on tough days. I heard Darren tell the kids Gerry was the keeper of stories: always something new and interesting to you was learned when he was asked, often about the farm and when he was a kid.
Our mutual love of fruitcake will flavour every batch from now on, honoured that he accepted that token for many Christmases.
His grace and gentleness will always be remembered.
Sarah & Family: My deepest condolences to you and your family. I am just reading this today (6/29 2022) I am sorry we did not get to attend the service. Jerry was always so kind and pleasant when we met up. Take Care Micki
Wishing Sarah and family and Jerrys brothers and sisters our deepest condolences.RIP Jerry
