Angela, thank you for your love and support. Dad loved you very much and would often let me know when you would talk. It meant the world to him that you kept in touch. We’re all missing dad. And he was heartbroken missing mom. I hope they are together now.

My big brother Paul lived a full and interesting life. He always had a story to tell and I our many talks and advice and listening to his opinions on multiple subjects. He will be dearly missed but he is now with his soul-mate Antonia. He will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Uncle Joe ❤️
Dad live a full and interesting life. And we all know that he held some very provocative opinions on many topics. He often told stories of his big brother times with you in Sydney. I know he loved you very much. I do hope he and mom are together on the other side. You know loss well. And I’m so happy you have found a safe place to land. Love you Uncle Joe.

We were so sorry to hear of Paul’s passing. I would like to share a memory of Paul – the Martinello families always got together during the Christmas Holidays & one year while we were at Minnie’s house , Paul offered to teach his younger cousins ( me included ) Monopoly. Needless to say, we had a great time & appreciated his patience with us. Our Deepest Sympathy to all of you,

Thank you for your condolences and memory of dad. Dad always had time to spend with the kids. I remember many times where he would take us places and teach us things and we would feel like we were so important that he would take the time to be with us. We’re going to miss dad very much.

Thank you for your prayers and thoughts and for reaching out to me. You know too well the loss of your parents. It’s very difficult to let go. I headed back to Cape Breton the day after dad passed, so I didn’t have time to connect with you in Halifax. But your offer of support during a very vulnerable time is very much appreciated.

I always loved spending time with my Uncle Paul. I felt like he listened to me and took me seriously as a young child, which was very much appreciated. Despite living so far away from you all, I have many strong memories of times that I spent with him and with you and your mother. From spending time at the cottage in Nova Scotia, to going to the Salt River Canyon and the ranch in Arizona…learning how to read menus backwards and confusing the server at the restaurant by ordering in our new language…finding treasures on the beach with a metal detector…and many more. I will always remember him fondly and wish you love and light as you grieve and process his transition.
Those are such precious memories. Thank you so much for sharing them. Dad did have a way of making children feel like they were so important. I always felt he would listen to me and wanted to spend time with me and that I wasn’t a bother to be around. He lived a very full and interesting life, Marla. And we’re going to miss him terribly.
