To Tudi and Gerard’s family, and Ann, James and Phonsie, we offer our condolence on his passing. Gerard and I were of the Class entering St. F.X in 1969, and soon thereafter our paths diverged. Met on the Port Hood Beach last year, and had a great chat, catching up on family, common friends, etc. Gerard had a great zest for life, and his obituary tells the story. We regret that he was taken so early from his family. Take care
Gerard will be greatly missed, but his warmth, kindness, and spirit will be remembered forever. May loving memories ease your loss and bring you comfort.
Very sorry to have read the passing of Gerard. Condolences to all his family, Phonse (Frances) and James (Coline). I remember Gerard well from ball games from Port Hood to Guysborough and in between. He was always a professional sportsman., on and off the field. Also worked with him a Stora. A great worker. RIP Gerard. Prayers to all. Duke Snyder

I was so sad to read of Gerard’s death. I have great memories
of visiting Uncle John James as a little kid when Gerard still lived at home. He used to pay me a dime to shine his shoes!!! My first job!! Prayers for all the family. Hang tight to your memories of a lovely gentle man! From Lisa and Phonsie Sutherland
Tudi and family.A fantastic man has left for a new adventure. Friends like Gerard are extremely hard to find. His eternal smile and shining eyes are a fixture in my mind. My memories of Gerard make me smile and feel sad but his way of life gives one the courage to go on. Our days eating fat archies with a cup of tea teamed with a lively and interesting conversation will stick with me forever. The strength Gerard passed on to you,Tudi and all his family will help immensely in this tough time. Stay STRONG.
Tudi and family , I am so sorry to hear about Gerard’s passing . I have so many memories at your house , the rink when the boys would be playing hockey . Thinking of you all
Gerard was such a gentleman and all around great husband, father, grandfather and friend to everyone he met and work with. No nicer couple to be with, Tudi and Gerard, thanks for all the laughs and good times.

To the entire MacEachern Family,
So sorry to hear of Gerard’s passing this week. I met Gerard when he was a member of the Antigonish Golf Club years ago, then reconnected when I joined the Team at Cabot. Gerard was a true gentleman in every way. Please know that my thoughts and Prayers are with you Kayla and your entire family at this time.
Tudi & all of the Mac Eachern family – we were very sorry to hear Gerard has passed away.
We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers- Margie & Bill Delaney
To Tudi and Gerard’s family: I am so terribly sorry to hear of Gerard’s passing. I had the pleasure of being with Gerard on the golf courses at Cabot for many Summers, close to a decade I should think. He was such a delightful person and being with him during my visits to Cape Breton was always a highlight. His sense of humour, his positive upbeat attitude and that welcoming heart made him Cape Breton’s greatest ambassador. I will really miss him, as I came to know him as a good friend and a great golf coach. My thoughts are with you all as this is certainly a profound loss.
