  1. My Dear Cuz, I will always remember your hearty laugh and kind heart! You gave a hand to many over the years and I’m sure you’re reaping your rewards now. Sincere condolences to Angela and Annette, and all your siblings, families and many friends.

  2. Our hearts are broken with your absence. We will miss your wit, your kindness and frequent conversations. We admired your resilience, adaptability and compassion for others. (I am forever grateful for your assistance in caring for Etta not once but twice. ) You enriched our lives with love and joy and we will treasure the moments we shared. Much love, Darlene, Greg, Kara and Grant.

  4. Judy and I became friends in our teens. When she entered the convent, her mission was to serve others. She had to change her birth name to that of a saint. I told her I would name a future daughter after her, which I did. We lost touch for many years because of distance, but reconnected when both our lives were on a different path. Three years ago I lost my only sister and Judy came to my house with a beautiful white rose and a poem she wrote. I cherish that. Rest In Peace my dear friend.

    • I was saddened to hear of Judy’s passing. We became friends when she lived in Creignish. She and I travelled to work together while she worked at the Co-op Bldg Supplies. We again connected years later when she moved back. She was always a pleasant, loving person to be with. We had many fun times. You will be dancing in heaven, Judy! ❤️

We are saddened and shocked to learn of Judy’s death.
We knew Judy through her late friend, Nancy Mac Lean, and the dances, ceilidhs etc.
She was a lovely, friendly lady who loved to dance.
    Duncan, we are so sorry.
    RIP Judy.

  9. My wife and I are greatly saddened to hear the news that Judy has passed away. Judy continued to devotion to helping others by becoming a home care worker in 2019. Judy was a devoted and loving caregiver to my mother-in-law Gertrude Shane of Halifax in her last year. Judy was always a delight to work with and her compassion always showed through. Her joy in taking care of Gertrude and learning about her life from New Waterford to Halifax helped to bring happiness to my mother-in-law and comfort to my wife and I. We were very saddened to hear about Judy’s own health situation that developed and her passing.

  10. My condolences to Annette and Angela and families at the loss of your dear Mom. She was such a joyful person and I always had some good laughs with her. I had the good fortune of speaking to her lately and her attitude to her illness was an inspiration. She had so much faith in God and in life. May you have the consolation of her enduring love for you from her place with her Lord! Kay Ann Meagher
