  15. I met Marilyn at Linda’s funeral reception and she seemed like a very friendly, gracious person. I offer my deepest sympathy to David and and Sylvia and all Marilyn’s family. I hope good memories of Marilyn bring comfort and joy to all of you during the Christmas season.

  16. MacLeod and Young families, While I am saddened to hear of your loss it was nice to read of the joys Marilyn enjoyed throughout her life. Marilyn was my primary teacher. I can imagine the challenges she faced as our family lived next door to the Young family, and her sister Susan and I were both close friends and classmates. However Marilyn handled her position with grace and made learning fun. I have many great memories of Marilyn: her kindness, her laughter and her great deep and very unique voice. I hope your family find comfort in your fond memories.
