  5. I knew Lisa ever since she was a little girl. Then as a compassionate nurse.I even got roped into one of her animal rescues on a street near her Mom’s when we were both driving home after working all night .Shocked an saddened to read of your loss.

  6. Oh Lisa you will be missed. You were always a bright spot in a busy day. I will miss you. You always spoiled me with little treasures. I wish I could have said goodbye. So I will now goodbye my friend. Goodbye my coworker we worked together for many years. You always put your heart and soul into all that you did. I remember you starting the box in our lunch room for people to put travel size toiletries in and you would walk it over to womens shelter. You were always giving and sharing. Your amazing sense of fashion at the office. Your fabulous shoes. We would always have fun talking about these great finds. You were a one of a kind. You will be missed. Heaven recieves a new angel. My condolences and gentle hugs to a your family and friends.

  7. To all of Lisa’s family and friends,
Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss. I was so sorry to hear that Lisa is gone. She was colleague of mine at Health Canada for more than a decade. She was the consummate professional. Absolutely committed to her work, great to be around, sharing, caring, always one to go the extra step. My cubicle backed on hers for many years and we often spent hours on a Friday, after a long work week, sharing stories and talking about all the troubles the world could bring, the joys in the everyday and the many ways that we hoped we might change things, despite knowing there was so much that cannot be solved. Undaunted Lisa never let the unsurmountable dampen her love of life and her positive outlook.
Please know that I will be forever in her debt for her presence after my wife of 27 years passed in 2017. She would often come and ask about me, sensing when I was deeply despondent and in much despair. Her beauty, laughter, words, and thoughts always lifted my spirits and brought me to a better place. I am and always will be truly, truly happy that I had the chance to work with her and for the fact that she was in this world. On behalf of all her colleagues at Health Canada, those that she knew, loved and touched so deeply, know that we will all miss her.
