Jessie was an icon in Margaree. I had the pleasure of knowing her and when my mom passed she drove down from the brook to spend time with us. May she rest in peace
My condolences to the whole Tompkins family. I was fortunate to visit Jessie several times with my mother, Eileen (McCarthy) MacNeil, who was your father’s first cousin. It was always so interesting to see the spot where my grandmother and her forebears before her had lived. Jessie was always so welcoming and my mother enjoyed every visit she made. May she rest in peace.
