Muriel and girls.we are sorry to hear of dear Doug’s passing. What a truly gentle man he was..lots of memories from the worship centre and on middle bight road. How can such a kind man not be missed, especially by you Muriel who loved him to the end. He was a father to his girls . The best way he could be. God bless and comfort you all now and in the days ahead. Ross and Yvonne Thompson
To my wonderful sister in the Lord and her wonderful girls,
Aubrey said, “Doug has been my very good friend for years and years.” I thank God for bringing your family into our lives. For years, He grew us spiritually together – adults and children. Your family was always be precious to us and, I know, your prayers gave us strength. Aubrey so enjoyed building that cabin with Doug and the times they canoed together -here and in Margaree. We love you all. May our Beautiful Savour keep giving you great memories of our brother. We will be with you tomorrow in Spirit.
Muriel, What sorrow we feel for you and the girls. I won’t say in the loss of your loved one as no one is lost when you know we’re they are. I think of all the blueberries that Doug used to pick, he seemed to enjoy the solitude. Take care of each other until that day when you will once again be united. You have our condolences and love. We are so very sorry to hear of Doug’s passing, he was one of the nicest people one would ever want to meet. Many of our family had personal and business dealings with Doug at his time here at the Royal Bank in Holyrood, NL and we really missed him when he left.
Sending condolences to all the family and know that his name was often mentioned in the Healey households as he was the nicest person.
Muriel, I am sorry to hear about the passing of Doug. i’m sure you and your family will miss him. I hope your memories will give you some comfort at this difficult time. sincerely, Curtis.
