My condolences on the death of Archie. I extend my sympathy but also my empathy in that losing one’s partner is not easy. Burton had along association with Archie’s family and of course with yours. He was delighted with all the help and information you gave in the writing of the MacDonald/MacDonnell genealogy but more importantly in meeting both you and Archie.

Sending condolences on the loss of Archie. We were quite young when Archie used to pay a visit to our house via the “shortcut”. He was a happy man who enjoyed conversations with dad and mom with lots of ensuing laughter. Rest in peace Archie.
Thank You Hughena…I don’t think that I know you but I am guessing that you are related to Angus and Donald MacMillan. Archie knew a lot of people and was especially proud of the folks that he knew growing up. He was not well for a number of years. I will certainly miss him. Edith
