  1. Ralph was my Industrial Arts teacher and Basketball coach at Baddeck Rural High School in the 1960’s. His classes were always informative and I have used his carpentry and drafting lessons on many occasions. My first trip of Cape Breton Island was in Ralph’s car to a high school basketball tournament in New Glasgow. I remember driving through the valley at Barney’s River listening to the Beatles sing Nowhere Man on his car radio. We didn’t win a game, but I made the second Allstar Team for the tournament which probably surprised him. On another occasion, I visited him at his house. He was very kind to me. My condolences to all the Anderson family. He is gone, but not forgotten by many former students. (Donald Smith, Wreck Cover of many years ago)

  3. Loved him as a teacher as Industrial Arts was my favourite subject at school. I also loved watching him and Alice at adult skating. They would always glide with such beauty on the ice just like dancing. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed by many.

  5. I am so sorry to hear of Ralph’s passing. I had him for industrial arts at BRHS in the 1970’s. I was not his most talented student, but I remember him for his good humour and patience (which I am sure I tested). He helped me design and make a wooden case for a cassette player and cassettes which I used for many years. Great guy and great teacher.

My sincere condolences to all his family. God bless šŸ™šŸ™šŸ™
