Ann and family: There really are not enough words to ever express the love I had for Lloyd – he was one of the greatest people I had the pleasure to meet and we developed a bond with all of you that was like family. He was always so caring, loving, kind and thoughtful. He was so generous with his time to help you with anything – from building our house to teaching me to tie flies. His best trait was the ability to tell people exactly how he felt about them – he didn’t hide his feelings and when he told you how he felt about you it came from deep down in his heart. Lloyd was one of those guys that appreciated every little thing you did for him whether it was a text, a call to chat or something much bigger. He could never thank you enough. From the first night Tom and I visited Ann & Lloyd I knew it was a friendship for life and I felt very blessed. Rest easy my friend – thank you for all the amazing memories we now have of you – XO With all our love, care and comfort today, tomorrow and always – Carrie & Tom
Ann and family We were saddened to hear of Lloyd’s passing. It was always a pleasure to stop for a chat when we were out for a walk on the Dominion boardwalk or the railroad walking trail. May you find strength at this sad time and may he Rest In Peace. Archie and Linda MacDonald
Dear Ann and family, I was very sad to hear of the loss of Lloyd, your husband , father of your children and grandfather. I never met Lloyd but I have known you since we were teenagers. I always saw beautiful pictures of you both travelling on the bike. My heart goes out to you. I will be in touch. Much love to you from Bernardine
Ann, John, and Marie. So sorry to hear of Lloyd’s passing. Lloyd was a generous and caring guy. Always willing to help. When mom ( Ann’s sister, Florence) was sick with cancer, he never hesitated to help in any way. He and Ann would drive to Halifax to be with her during her illness. Mom’s favorite place to go for a drive was Mabou and she could always depend on Lloyd to take her to spend a nice day in Mabou. He was a genuine, solid guy. RIP Lloyd – Ann’s nephew, Kelly.
Ann, our deepest sympathy on the passing of your beloved husband father. Jimmy and I will certainly miss his impromptu visits here and in the garage. Many hours were spent laughing and talking about the beautiful days and the many hours everyone spent riding and people they met along the way. I hope you take comfort in knowing that someone somewhere is thinking about you and your family and keeping you in their prayers. Love from both of us, Jimmy and Cathy Hill.
Dear Ann, Marie and John, I was so shocked and saddened to hear the news of Lloyd’s passing. He was a wonderful person and was always so kind and helpful to my mom.
