Aunt Melita, I somehow can’t imagine this world without you. You were a light to so many! While you no longer shine, your love, compassion and joy of life will carry on in all those that knew you!
Thank you for always being so supportive, the many lovely cards, and for always being available for a chat. I will always remember the many times we just sat and visited. I will especially remember the times you told me I was beautiful, whether I looked nice, or not, and especially when I didn’t feel beautiful! I loved those moments with you! You were the best!

Dear Tamara and John, our sincere sympathy in the loss of your dear sweet mom! She was the bright light when she walked into the room! We loved her style, of wearing two different shoes or earrings or whatever she wanted! Only Melita could pull that off! She was a friend and always looked forward to her visiting us at the store! We could always count on her to buy something! She leaves an empty hole in our little village of Baddeck! All our love to you both! XO
I met Melita through the Tai Chi club in Burlington. It turned out we lived in thee same neighbourhood. And from there a friendship started. Such an amazing woman; talented, intelligent and always an inspiring independent soul.
I’ve never met your Mom Tammy but she sounds like a classy and original lady. She raised a wonderful daughter too dear. I m so sorry for your loss.

Even though I never met your Mother I can believe she was a caring, loving and wonderful person just from knowing you. I know that the day you were born your mother knew that she would live on through you. You shall always carry her heart, sole and spirit within you forever. She is and always will be with you.
